I've used canvas before and it looked kinda flat, i'd try a coat of clear or white before you paint on it. :) ---------- Amber- (Oberon) More Funny Myspace Comments WATCH OUT FOR THE TERMINATING, SPRAY PAINTING, MEGA CAT!!!!! O_O

ok, you're going to need to prime it, but you can use 3 things. white spray, clear spray, or guesso (you can get a small bottle at any craft store. now, it sort of depends on what you're going to be painting. If you'll be doing removing and layering, i would reccommend that you do NOT use white, because when you remove, it generally takes up all the color and you are left with pretty much all white. now, if you're going to be just adding on paint such a s a stencil, but not really pulling off paint, white is fine. for the guesso, i'm not sure how well it works, but it's what acrylic and oil painters use. i think it will work. hahah i've painted a few canvas' and a lot of them didn't turn out. just takes practice. ----------
